Its November! So we can now officially talk about Christmas 😆 I have been thinking about it and planning for a while for the business but must admit I haven't planned anything in yet for the family. It can be tricky sometimes as I get so busy in this season so I wanted to get find some fun ideas for the kids at Christmas now, and I thought I would share them with you!
My eldest absolutely loves anything crafty and we usually get her to make our Christmas cards for us. This is a cute idea that she would probably be able to do with her younger brother too, with a bit of help! He is 1 and loves getting messy so I just need to cover EVERYTHING up before he gets involved!
I don't know what your feelings are about slime... although it is most parents worst nightmare! But love it or hate it... kids think its amazing! If you dare, the recipe is here for Christmas Tree Slime!
Dressing up! My kids LOVE dressing up. Any excuse, any occasion. the good thing about Christmas is they have an excuse to dress up for two months in the build up to the big day! How cute are these handmade reindeer ears from A is for Alice? They have loads of other cute accessories too!
Speaking of what to wear. A Christmas Jumper is an obvious MUST! We are so excited about these new Draw Your Own Christmas Jumper designs from Olive & Pip. These are two in one; an activity for kids to keep them entertained PLUS a jumper they can show off to their friends on Christmas Jumper Day. Made from your little one's drawings and available in kids and grown up sizes, just imagine those festive family photos...
Baking! Kids love baking at Christmas. Well, any time really but there are so many fun treats that can be made in the festive season. These snowman cupcakes are super cute and would be really easy to decorate (even if you didn't want them involved in the chaos of baking the actual cakes!). You can find the recipe here
How fun are these Buddy The Elf Selfie Puppets! You can make them together and decorate the tree with them! This website has printable templates making them even easier to make yay!
And last but not least, what is Christmas without GLITTER! Use anything sparkly you can lay your hands on to make these cute snowflakes. They can be used as decorations, place settings or even for Christmas cards.
I hope you have enjoyed reading some of my fun ideas for the kids at Christmas!
